Between the Rhine and the Vosges mountains, Alsace is peppered with picturesque villages full of smart, colourful houses, nestling in the foothills between vineyards and forests. Mulhouse, in keeping with its industrial tradition, attracts visitors for its museums – the most renowned being the Schlumpf brothers' Automobile Museum.

Nature has endowed Alsace with many treasures to be discovered while travelling along the "Wine Road". These wines are the perfect accompaniment to delicious local dishes such as sauerkraut, game, "flammeküche", foie gras, and wonderful pastries, like "kugelhopf", etc.
